Back to Sea...

Hello Fans! I'm back! I know I haven't blogged for a while, but there hasn't been all that much to say for the last couple of months! I've been home for nearly 2 and a half months, and I'm now getting ready to go back to a ship! I've had a nice time off work, visiting friends, playing my Wii, moving things in, out, and around the storage locker, etc. I'm so glad I got to see so many of my friends and spend some good quality time with my family, but I'm ready to go back - and well, now I'm out of money, so I kinda need to go back...LOL

Now I know you're curious, what did I do on my vacation? Well, not a heck of a lot...Went on some walks, took a few pictures - check out my picasa site to see them - cuddled my cat, and went on a week long trip to Kamloops to see my friend Nikki and her family. I had a great time there, finally got to know their baby (not so baby anymore!), and she's the so sweet, and cute, and adorable...wouldn't have missed that trip for the world.

So, now you want to know what's next...I will be traveling next wednesday (Dec 3rd) to Rome, Italy to meet my ship (The Galaxy) on December 5th, where we will proceed to do a repositioning cruise, crossing the Atlantic Ocean (FOR 5 DAYS!!!) to the sunny caribbean where we will spend the winter! I know, you're all jealous now! Before meeting the ship, I will have about a half day in Rome, so I'm excited to check that out. I recently found out that I will be meeting the ship on the same day as someone I worked with on Infinity, and she will be arriving at about the same time as me, so I should have some company on my explorations!

Our first cruise was supposed to stop twice in Morocco, but for unknown reasons it has changed it's course, and we will now stop in Cartagena, Spain, and Gibralter, UK instead. Not as exciting but definitely not so shabby! After that, we'll be making 3 stops in the Canary Islands, before it's yes 5 FULL days at sea crossing the Atlantic Ocean (uhhh, where did I put those sea sick pills???) before we reach first the British Virgin Islands, and then our final destination, Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico will become our embarkation port, so all guests will come and go from there, and we'll be traveling to lovely places such as Aruba, Barbados, Dominca, Grenada, Curacao, St Kitts, St Maarten, etc throughout the winter!

I will be missing Christmas here at home, and that makes me sad...I'll really miss my family and friends at that time, but I'm also looking forward to a new experience. I'm curious about what the parties will be like and what is done on ships to help crew with missing family and friends at that time of year. So I am going to need you guys to keep in touch, especially at Christmas!

So, prepare yourselves, as I'm sure I'll have tonnes to say over the next few weeks on the new adventure, so you'll have to tune in frequently to stay on top of what's going on with Tab!

Love you all! Thanks for reading, and your support!
